Whom to Pray – Almighty Yahweh or His Son Yahshua (Jesus)

Whom to Pray –   Almighty Yahweh  or His Son  Jesus.

Anywhere in Scripture it’s not mentioned that Jesus Told to his Deciples to pray to him.rather he said pray to Almighty Yahweh and whatever you ask in Prayer ask in my name ,and my father will listen and give it to you.

The early doctrine or philosophy on this subject which contradict this theory. Jesus said who ever seen me have seen the Father when his Deciples asked him to show the Father and he also said I am my father’s son.

If he is God then why he went to Gethsemane with Peter and two other Deciples.

Mathew 26:36-39″ Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” 37 And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch[a] with me.”39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

In connection with worship, many Christians think that God’s Word clearly instructsthem to pray to the Lord, that is, to Jesus Christ.B. Many Christians think what they believe, in point “A” above, is instructed at variousplaces in the Bible. The Bible clearly states, in connection to worship, that we are to pray to God, who isthe Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and does not instruct us to pray to the Lord, meaning, Jesus Christ. Now to many, this may sound strange to their ears and different or contrary to what theyhave been taught. Why is it so?One of the reasons, and it is the major one, why it is so is because of improperunderstanding of the truth due to lack of systematic study of the subject.

either every verse where the words “pray” and “prayer” appeared in the Old Testament  nor every record of prayer was shown here. However,it is still clear that the Old Testament believers, without failure, prayed to theJehovah who was their God and not to the Lord, incase the word “the Lord” meantthe Lord Jesus Christ.1. Abraham prayed to God. Genesis 20:172. Moses prayed to the Jehovah who is God. Numbers 11:23. Moses prayed to the Lord Jehovah. Deuteronomy 9:264. Hannah prayed to the Jehovah. I Samuel 1:105. Samuel prayed to the Jehovah. I Samuel 7:56. David prayed to the Jehovah of hosts, God of Israel. II Samuel 7:277. Solomon prayed to the Jehovah his God. I Kings 8:288. Elisha prayed to the Jehovah. II Kings 4:339. Ezra prayed to the Jehovah God of Israel. Ezra 10:110. Nehemiah prayed to God of heaven. Nehemiah 2:411. Hezekiah prayed to the Jehovah. Isaiah 37:1512. Daniel prayed to the Jehovah his God. Daniel 9:413. Jonah prayed to the Jehovah his God. Jonah 2:1.

What is truth then?

Now a doctrinal pointGod is our Father and He is spirit.Jesus is the Son of GodHis Father is God.Our Father is also God.So we are brothers.Jesus is the first born of many brothers and sisters to follow.Christian world thinks Jesus is God but the scriptures shows that he is a man and not God but the Son of God.You are a Son of God.As he is, as who, Jesus the Christ,  so are we in this world.Jesus is our Lord, God raised His Son from the dead.God didn’t raise Himself from the dead.3 days and 3 nights God was dead.  Was He somehow absent from the creation?God is immortal, indestructible, but His Son died for us the first Adam sinned, the second Adam gave us life.Jesus never asked his disciples to pray to Him but said our Father ……

“Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you” (Matthew 6:5-6).

Mark 6:46And when he [Jesus] had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray

To whom did Jesus pray? He must have prayed to the Father. The Lord prayed often.Mark 11:24Therefore I (Jesus) say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.(Jesus again taught his disciples on prayer; he said, “when you pray, you must believe”.)

“Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you” (Matthew 6:5-6).Jesus tells us to pray to “Our Father in heaven.” This should set our mental attitude as we come to a time of prayer. From the Old Testament and much of the New, we understand that we are praying to God, and that He is our Lord and King. We owe Him our lives and our service. But Jesus tells us that we pray to the Father and ask in His name so whatever you ask in my name my father will give you.
