IMMANUEL- ” Yahweh God is with us” -עמנואל “יהוה אלהים אתנו”

The Prophecy of Jesus Birth, Almighty God “Yahweh” has don long before Jesus Birth, he sent his son to know him and his love for us.

Around 2,000 years ago, Christ “ Yahshua” came to earth in a human flesh and in a humble manner. The Savior of the world and God of all creation put on humanity to die for our sins and conquer death, giving the hope of salvation to all who turn from their sin and believe in Him. One day, He will return in judgment, and He will not appear as a seemingly helpless baby, but as the risen, glorified, sovereign Lord and Judge.

Starting from Genesis the prophecy period was around 1400 years Before Christ birth.

In Genesis 49:10, Jacob is blessing his 12 sons. This blessing was also a prophecy. Jacob told his son Judah that his descendants would be rulers and that one of his descendants will be an ultimate ruler.Genesis 49:10  “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”Isaiah was a Hebrew prophet who was believed to have lived about 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. Born in Jerusalem, Israel, he was said to have found his calling as a prophet when he saw a vision in the year of King Uzziah’s death.”Isaiah 7:14  “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

ישעיהו 7:14 “לכן אלוהים עצמו ייתן לך סימן, הנה, בתולה יהיה להרות, ולשאול בן, ואת תקרא שמו עמנואל.”Isaiah 11:1-5  “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.Micah – was prophesized around 750-686 BCMicah 5:1-2  Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Jeremiah lived during a turbulent period, the final years of the kingdom of Judah, from the death of king Josiah (609 BCE) and the loss of independence that followed, through the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians and the exile of much its population.Prophesized Sometime between 626-586 CB Jeremiah 23:5-6  “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.Hosea 11:1  “When Israel was a child, then I loved him and called my son out of Egypt.”And the New Testament where Matthew gives us another reason to be thankful. The events associated with the birth of Jesus fulfilled numerous Old Testament prophecies given centuries before the events they described Matthew 1:21-23  “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Verse 23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”John 7:42  “Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?.”While we go through the scriptures about the prophecies of Christ birth and the Planning of Almighty God Yahweh that has been planned by God himself that without sending his son into the world and through his blood there is no alternative for the people his creation to once again enter into his kingdom where from long ago they were thrown out because of disobedience. If we go through the Genesis Where Abram (Abraham) was obeying God to sacrifice his only Son Isaac.Isaac was his only son and was born through God’s blessings when he was 100 years of age.but when God Called him and told him that he has to sacrifice his only son, not even for one second Abraham think that “Oh Lord he is my only son how can I sacrifice him no I am sorry I can’t.” But no, these thoughts can come to our minds because if we see ourselves and ask this question from ourselves are we Obedient? That’s a big question mark. But Abraham or his wife trusted God because they knew that this son is given by God himself to them. And God knows the Value of Only SonThat is why when Abraham was about to sacrifice, let’s read the scriptures.Genesis 22:1-2, 4, 9-12  “And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.Then on the third day, Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place afar off.And they came to the place which God had told him of, and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand and took the knife to slay his son.And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.Read the last sentence “Thine only son from me,”Yes and He sent his son in human flesh to be among us , to teach us and guided us the way of truth and Righteousness. This is All Planning of God, which we can not think or compare.because what he thinks for us we don’t even know as he says in Isaiah 55:8-9  “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”We can praise God for fulfilling His promises. and we can have complete confidence that He will always be faithful to do what He has declared. While we think about the surrounding of the world we should rejoice and be glad that God has sent his son Jesus to deliver and redeemed us from the sins and give us the Hope of eternal life.Jesus put the Seal on His Father’s Word while he told the parable of Servants of Vineyard in Matthew 21: 34-40.

Born today in our heart O Lord Jesus.
