“Word of God -“Bible”- A Sign and Prophet For this Generation.

Psalms 74:9-10  “We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long”.10 “O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name forever?”.

The Psalm 74  It was based on a plea for relief that why God’s anger is so intense against his own chosen people.that they have no longer see any miraculous sign and all there Prophets have gone who can tell them when God’s  anger will be over..and he will help them When I was reading it and to verse 9-10 it seems that it is pointing out   indirectly  towards  the present days Situations as well. We can’t say that  we don’t see any signs, we can see what are the prophecies mentioned in Bible are fulfilling in these days, We can’t say that we don’t have any Prophets or wise men, actually I don’t see any prophet but yes there are  wise men and Good Teachers but very few who actually  has sound doctrines and Speak on Spiritual Growth and Spiritual wealth. But haven’t seen any prophecy from them which is different from the prophecies of Bible, Yes indeed there are some self-proclaimed Prophets also, who only prophesied on those worldly things on which people are more interested like material wealth, there are some self-proclaimed prophets who runs  Healing Ministries.

There were Prophets in eralier days but , What a misery and how unfortunate we are, that our forefathers not only killed some of those Prophets but they even denied their prophecy  for a savior a “Messiah” The son of God Jesus our savior’s Coming and when he came in this world John the Baptist also prophesised for him and he was the first  one who was beheaded, what Pharisees and sadukees did  they denied Jesus as son  of God and  crucified him as they don’t want to eccept truth because of their hardened Heretics.

It is Rightfully written in the scriptures Acts 7:52  “Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers.”

There are numerous verses in the Bible where the Prophets had been killed.Paul describes how we people were and now, there is no difference in the thinking.

Let’s look into Romans 11:3, 8-10  Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and dug down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them: Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

What is Written is actually happening in our time…There are so many signs that tell us we are living in the last days, and the same has been there as a prophecy for us if we read 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Matthew 24:37-39.

People are more interested in listening Blessings words, not the words of difficulties, problems trials…What I have noticed nowadays people look for Positive words which makes them happy not the negative words.if you a negative word anyone if will start fighting with you… People are afraid of Listening Truth rather much more interested the false words mixed with blessings,  praise.. these kind words.

These are the people whom are  already referred there in Bible if we read

2 Timothy 4:3-4”For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”.

Wow ,sometimes it boggles my mind, The Psalm 74 Verse 1 says we see no signs no prophet….may be at that time there was no prophets who  prophesised about God’s Action and his planning  towards his people ,But there were  Prophets  like Isiah, Jermiah, Micah, Yona, habakkuk who prophesised about God’s Planning of sending his Son Jesus …and that Prophecy was fulfilled at the time of Jesus.

But here I would like to share the story from NT which was told by Jesus.of Husbandsman and Vineyard servants in Matthew 21:35-39  “And the Husbandsman took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.Yes these servants killed the son of the husbandman… In fact we people does not want that somebody come and teach us, and rather believe in our own understanding we think the knowledge I have or we have nobody has.i am.genius, I am the  Master or teacher, I have doctorined on it nobody explain it  well except me…

Although Jesus said in  Matthew 23:34  “Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: If we read Acts 13:1-2 tells about the Wisemen, teachers and Prophets.

The history of biblical events of Martyre of  Apostles, how they are crucified and how they were killed..

Who were these wise men or Prophets, wasn’t  they were Stephen who were killed with stones, aren’t it was Peter who were crucified upside down , Andrew was scourged, and then tied rather than nailed to a cross, so that he would suffer for a longer time before dying. James was killed with a sword, Philip scourged, thrown into prison, and crucified, Bartholomew was skinned alive and then beheaded.Thomas was killed through with a spear.Mathew was supposedly stabbed in the back by an swordsman sent by King Hertacus.Eusebius, an early church historian. Eusebius claimed that Apostle Paul was beheaded at the order of the Roman emperor Nero.

These were the Wise Men and prophets who in their teachings prophesised about Present days . Why in 2 Timothy it is written  people will not endure sound doctrine but collect teachers and leaders and Self proclaimed Prophets for their itching ears. And that’s exactly what can be seen in present days…we are living in ” treacherous times”? Of our days. But how can we be in the last days when so many people around the world are living normal happy lives, without a care in the world? These days people will not take rebuke or correction for the wrong things they do, instead if you tell them this is wrong according to Bible they stop you and warn you to stop judging them. In these days people are more interested in seeking for material, worldly riches.rather than the heavenly riches.” The Word of God”..for this they don’t have time but for their worldly desires they have ample time.Prosperity gospel as an example of the covetous nature of even professing followers of Christ Jesus. So many people are lured into this false gospel with the promise of material wealth. It’s nothing more than IDOLATRY.

As it is written that in the end days I will pour out my spirit and your sons and daughters shall Prophecy.Thesr are the last days and we so many people are getting baptized by holy spirit, some speaks in tongues and some has healing power. There are False Prophets also, we can not identify them untill we have knowledge and  thorough study of Bible, Bible says in Matthew 7:15 about them.2 Timothy 2:15 also tells us how we can handle them.

In the end, I would say That yes we Have a Sign and a Prophet Which no other than ” Bible” which has all the Prophesies of Earlier and the end days time Full filled and full filling .
