When Lydia Stuth Rosebush told her five-year-old son Jax to have a haircut over the weekend, Jax told Lydia that he wanted to have a haircut same as his friend Reddy.
Despite of the difference in their skin colors, Jax and his best friend Reddy are convinced that they look like identical twins, except they have different hairstyles. So Jax wanted to play a little prank on his teacher on Monday morning by confusing her by having the same hairstyle as Reddy.
“He said he couldn’t wait to go to school on Monday with his hair like Reddy’s so that his teacher wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. He thought it would be so hilarious to confuse his teacher with the same haircut,” wrote Lydia in a Facebook post.
“If this isn’t proof that hate and prejudice is something that is taught I don’t know what is. The only difference Jax sees in the two of them is their hair,” she added.
Lydia posted the story on her Facebook in February 2017 and the post continues to get reactions from many people even today. The post has 225k reactions, 15k comments and 106k shares. People who read the story are inspired by the purity and impartial attitude of Jax.
