Roxli Doss, a 11-year-old girl from Texas was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, popularly known as DIPG (tumor in the brain). She had been suffering from headaches, nausea and double vision which led to the discovery of the condition in June 2018.

According to the doctors, the radiation might shrink the tumor, but only slightly. Roxli’s parents were devastated to hear the news that their daughter would never be fully healed of her condition.

Before they started radiation, the family took Roxli out to the beach and let Roxli do all of her favorite things to keep her spirit up.

After this, Roxli went on to have radiations every day for 6 weeks straight, which was not really an enjoyable experience either for Roxli or her parents.

After six weeks of radiation, Roxli began to feel very normal. She quickly recovered and started to do things that any 11-year-old would do. She did swimming, playing and horse riding on a regular basis. This was not what Roxli’s parents anticipated, but they were very joyful looking at their daughter’s swift recovery.

Meanwhile, the parents were praying and requesting prayers from friends and family. They also ran fundraising in crowdfunding websites.

Before proceeding into further treatment, Roxli was taken for a 2nd set of MRI tests early September.

To everyone’s utter amazement, doctors found no trace of tumor in Roxli’s head at the follow-up appointment.

Highly specialized doctors from Austin, Houston and Boston diagnosed Roxli to make sure that she did not have any tumor left in her head.

“We have never seen anything like this before,” said the doctors.

After 2+ months of fervent and faithful prayers for healing from this community and across the country, GOD HAS ANSWERED…

“After 2+ months of fervent and faithful prayers for healing from this community and across the country, GOD HAS ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS. Doctors have characterized Roxli’s response to radiation as ‘very, very rare’ and ‘a very wonderful and unusual response’. DIPG historically always comes back after radiation. But doctors don’t know what to expect in Roxli’s case because so few DIPG patients have ever been in the incredible position we’re in now. Regardless of what the future holds, there is no doubt in my mind that today we are witnessing God’s healing hand over Roxli… There is not a doctor on this earth or medicine known to man that could produce this result. God has responded with mercy and love to YOUR prayers in FAITH and HE is GLORIFIED in this MIRACLE!!! I am fired up. Gena and I have heard of so many of you praying daily and unceasingly. Look at what can happen when the community prays together and faithfully believes that GOD WILL ANSWER!!!,” said Roxli’s dad in a social media post.

“God has moved the mountain,” Roxli’s mother wrote on her social.
