Holy Sacrament- The Importance Of The Blood of Christ In Our Lives.

blood of Christ Jan 8, 2018

In all our lives from our childhood we have seen, that how our parents took us to the church and we attended it, and whatever activities were performed there, maybe it a Sermon, Worship, Prayers, Sacrament, we all became the part of that….. because we saw what our parents are Following,we also need to follow that because we are part of that church…

But When we grow and reached a age where dedication required to submit our self as a single person where this person is answerable for his Judgement.

I was like an average Christian person, who was satisfied with all the traditions of my faith….and living a normal Christian Life..May be 2-3% and worldly about 97-98%. It’s a fact..

On the Sundays whenever there was holy  sacrament , I used to take part on that…but here something within me yelling, Be concious It’s the blood of Christ not mere a soft drink, it’s a cleanser and purifier of sinful nature. but  my worldy thoughts overpowered on it…..and that thing is continiuosly going on until The day I heard his voice, his calling and was anointed with his Holy spirit….the way of looking on things have entirely changed. Now this was revealed to me by my savior Lord Jesus that his blood is more precious… by drinking his blood means you are cleaned your sins are washed away ,you are not the one you were before but a new creation….and that’s the Point or you can say The Article or topic which my Lord Jesus Guide me to elaborate on the subject to make others understand the relevance.

Before going further we should look into the scriptures what it says about it. If we read In Matthew 26:26-28  “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

In other words it is “Cleansed through his Blood” we stay in fellowship with Jesus Christ our Saviour by daily trusting in the cleansing blood. We all sin every day, and if  we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We all sin every day, every hour even every minute…..and think that on Sunday when we go to church we take the Holy sacrament for the sins we have done ,again drink his blood and again eat his body…what matters…as we are Christian and Sacrament is a tradition through which the we have the forgiveness of sins..It’s like once saved always saved and that’s a fact, First and foremost is the evidence of Scripture is in John 3:15-18.

It’s the word of God in which he says clearly he says whoever believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life, but who does not believe shall be condemned already….again in John 3:5-7  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again”.Jesus clarified in John 3:5-7 that until we are born again of Spirit, that doesn’t means if are baptized with water (worldy water) and already taken the holy sacrament and regular goer of Church, reading regular Bible, even we have done Prophecy or given healing with his name ,does all these things guarantee that we are sure shot get the entry into his kingdom..

What Bible teaches that we all are  inherently sinful and this sinful nature is a part of all of us if we read Romans 3:10, what it says  that even after being saved, every single believer is going to sin from time to time.we need to think  that we can live a perfect, sinless life after our salvation is not only with scripture but conceited if we read James 2:10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

If we are not eternally secure, this sinning will cause us to lose our salvation, and a rejection stamp will be placed on us.

What Jesus said on this if we read Matthew 7:22-23 ,where he said people will say who are so called Believers or saved ones Lord haven’t we have done wonderful works?,He will deny them Jesus said in his own words in Matthew 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The sacraments were instituted by Christ and were part of the Tradition of the early Christian Church. There are seven Sacrament not only Catholic as well as Eastern Orthodox Churches all recognize the seven sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, Penance, the Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. The three sacraments of Christian Initiation are Baptism.

Holy Eucharist – Eucharistia means thanksgiving, and the Eucharist is the “source and summit of the Christian life.” St. Justin Martyr described the Eucharistic Liturgy in 155 AD in his First Apolo
