“…But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15

What a nice and blessed thing to have your entire family worshipping and serving the Lord with you. It’s like what Joshua said that he and his entire household will serve the Lord. It’s a kind of decision that anyone can make, and it can manifest in many ways, like in this particular family who chose to praise the Lord in a song.

A father and his three kids play the ukulele while singing ‘Give Me Joy In My Heart.’ It’s very lovely to see all three kids know how to play the ukulele. What’s more heartening to know is that they have the heart to praise the Lord and refreshing our hearts as we listen to them. It’s apparent that they all love to sing and play the instrument together and enjoying what they’re doing at the same time.

The dad and kids quartet is singing a classic hymn which almost all of us know and love singing at church. Their dad did a good job in teaching all of them to strum the ukulele even at a young age. You can see the smiles on their faces as they sing their heart out, taking turns in singing lines that complement each other’s parts.

Good job! It’s not only entertaining to watch, but it also imparts to us the true essence of the song – the joy of the Lord.
