What a Merciful God and Savior We have, is there any other God like him, “No” nobody.
My soul thrilled when I think about his blessings ,his promises, his commandments….that’s such an amazing thing…the deep you think and start counting his blessings, but you won’t , because that’s are like and which is unlimited, uncountable, when you start thinking God does this for me, oh yes that’s also done by God….
What an amazing and awesome Feeling and what a great God a living God we have, He paid the price for our sins and inequities through his only Son our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you look on to the book of Joshua you will see his assurance for us.
He says No man, No Enemy be able to stand against his people, this assurance is not for one day or week or month or even year but he says all the days of our lives.can anybody give you this long assurance?
Like the Leaders or President or prime minister or People in authority Government provide them security and those for a certain period of time, but here our God gives security of his mighty army.As God said in the scriptures He says No man be able to against his people.
He wants that we should be courageous at all times, do not lose hope.and be strong.
He said you just need to follow the book of my law and my commandments it should not depart from your mouth, day or night concentrate on it, then again a promise comes from God which is I will prosper you in your work of hands and in your spirituality.
He also questioned us if we have any kind of doubts…he said “ Have I not commanded you, be strong, be of good courage.do not feard not dismayed.
If people have any kind of doubts in his promises should need to read it and check it’s documented, means it’s not verbal, in our worldly ways if we want to do any agreements the value of communication should be documented only then if the other party backwards you go to the court.
But here Our Almighty God put a seal on his words, that whatever he said he will abide by that.and those words are documented.
What else assurance we need….
Joshua 1:5-9 “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
The New Testament makes one of them, in particular, available to us all. The promise at the end of the verse is quoted again in Hebrews: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Heb. 13:5). This is an unconditional promise to all of God’s children. Whatever we face, we know that we do not face it alone. This is our consolation if our path through this world takes us through real suffering or persecution.
It would be a mistake, however, to conclude that God will not enable believers like ourselves to prosper. Prosperity can be understood in a spiritual sense, not as a worldly success but as growth in heavenly virtue. If the meaning is so restricted, we learn from verse 7 what we must do to obtain it. To prosper in Believers life, we must heed God’s commands to Joshua: first, “Observe to do all according to the law”; second, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night” Thus, to gain spiritual prosperity, we must meet three conditions. We must obey the law, teach it, and meditate upon it.
The law is like a “school teacher to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith”, Galatians 3:24 “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”
The purpose of the law is to teach us the sinfulness of our hearts so that we might know our need of a Savior if we see Romans 7:7 “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.”
Only when we know the law in its supreme holiness do we understand why through our own efforts it is impossible to please God. We discover that these efforts never succeed in keeping the law perfectly Romans 7:18-25 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind, I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”
So we have seen that only through Christ is our salvation.
Unlimited eternal Blessings not just in this world but afterlife also where Christ has promised in John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
He also says in Revelation 3:21 “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” In spite of so much of worldly, and so much involved in Worldly things ,I myself not pointing out anybody ,was used to Considered my self as a mentally retarded child to whom parents could not kill because he is the love of their hearts and take care of each and every small thing of that child.and carry him to their last breath.
This is the quality of Our God, in spite of so much of week mentally, physically, Spiritually, living life on our own understanding, God Carry us, yes he carries us those kinds of children.he knows that we all are the love of his heart and that is why he keeps on teaching us, perhaps one day we completely healed of that disease (Spiritual sickness, Spiritually dead soul).
That is why he says I will not forget you and I will not dismay you.”
Wow, what a Lovely heavenly father we have.
