Inspirational Christian speaker Joyce Meyer said her 2-year-old great-grandson prays for the healing of his mother, and it’s the perfect medication that she needs.
Meyer encouraged believers to learn from the faith of this little boy – because it is child-like faith that allows the power of God to release upon our lives.
Meyer said her granddaughter’s back hurt badly to a point that she could only lie down on the bed and cry. Jeremiah, her great-grandson, put his hand on his mom and prayed, “Jesus, Mommy, Ouchy, Amen.” Miraculously, Meyer’s granddaughter was healed.
Meyer went on and quoted the teaching of Jesus recorded in Luke 18:17, “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” She urged believers to trust God like how kids rely on their parents that they can solve all their problems.
Meyer said, “You need to come like a little child, just like a little child and believe Him, just believe.”
Meyer lamented believers could not trust God fully if they use their heads rather than their hearts. Believing in God is a thing of the heart and not of the head.

Have you ever faced a situation and said, "There is no way this can ever be"? Maybe some of these thoughts weigh on your mind: • There is no way I can handle the pressure at work. • There is no way I can pay my bills. • There is no way to save my marriage. • There is no way I can go back to college now. With God's help, there is always a way. This is a beautiful truth to be grateful for. It may not be easy; it may not be convenient; it may not come quickly. You may have to go over, under, around, or through difficulty—but if you will simply keep on keeping on, you will find a way. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life." He is the Way, and He will help you find a way even where there doesn't seem to be one. #JoyceQuote #HeIsTheWay #truth #life
Meyer also added, “Faith is something God gives you that you need to use and release in your life. It’s a powerful force, but it’s not just an automatic, you put your trust in God, you put your faith in Him.”
Faith, however, is not an assurance that everything we want in life will happen. We need to put our absolute trust in God because He always knows what’s best for us.
