Word of God - The Seed

Word of God - The Seed

James 1:22

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves”

What does this verse mean to me? Do I really follow in my life the word of God?

Apostle James clearly mentioned that if we are listening to the God’s word we just don’t just listen to it but we should follow and apply it in our lives.

Luke also said in 8:11

“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”

In (Mathew 13:3-9)”Jesus very well explained, he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still, other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

What is SEED? SEED is the Word of God.

There are so many examples Given in Bible Regarding God’s seed.

2 CORINTHIANS 9:6B But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

God is like a farmer he is scattering his words are seeds and if we desire that the Word of God to produce the good crop in our life, we must decide to sow the seed the Word of God in our heart and mind.

The best way to plant the seed of God’s Word in our life is what we listen we should apply this in our own life if we apply the word of God in our life w will surely cut the bountiful harvest.secondly, we need to spread the word of God, because the faith comes from hearing Hearing and through mouth adopt.

1 Peter 1:23 says

“for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God”

If we are hearing God’s words and not applying in our life then we are deceiving you.

In Mark 4:30-31, Jesus explained that the kingdom of God works like a seed.

Lastly, I must say the apostle James 1:23-24 verses says :

23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

So, if we are to understand God’s kingdom and how He operates, we need to understand seeds.

If we listened to his words and apply it in our lives we will produce God crops and will cut a bountiful harvest at the right time through God’s blessings.
