Shock! Only 3.5% of Christians Can Discern Between A Quote From Satan And A Quote From Jesus

I believe every one of us have seen that “Type AMEN before you scroll down” videos or “One like, One Amen” kind of post in your social media wall, right? How do you feel about it? Are you the kind who do not care and just scrolls down or the kind who clicks the comment section and type “AMEN” like the majority of people does? Or are you someone who also clicks the comment section but type “This post is retarded” or “Dude, its 2018!” kind of things?  Uh-huh?!  But this video actually teaches us to check before you click.

Social media, majority of Christians may agree, is a very good platform to share the gospel.  It’s a very good, very convenient and at the same time very effective platform to share the Christian values, the love of God and what Jesus Christ did for our salvation. Yes this is true. But it is also true that social media, on the other hand, can also be a very good platform to advance the enemy’s kingdom. And many Christians, like how it is shown in that video, are unaware that they are actually taking part in the advancement of the Kingdom of Darkness. How? By simply typing “AMEN” in the comment section.

This happens, as proven in the video, and Christians are not even aware of it. Why? All because we do not know what the word of God says.  In John 10:27, Jesus tells us, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” Do we know our shepherd’s voice? Or our we lured by the good-sounding words of the enemy?

What we have with Jesus is a relationship. I believe that every day of our lives, Jesus had and will always be pursuing us. But it’s not just His job to make this relationship work. It is also your responsibility to make this relationship work. And the most basic yet very fundamental way to do it is through communication. We will never grow in our relationship with God unless we communicate with Him. The key word is “with”. It’s not just a one way communication. Of course, thank God because He listens to our prayers. But we also need to listen to Him, we also need to know His voice and that is through reading our Bible. You will never grow in your relationship with Him unless you read the Bible, not just read but study, understand, and comprehend his Word.

The enemy lured us with these good-sounding words, “If you worship me, it will all be yours.” (Luke 4:7) However, the word of God promises us prosperity and success. How?

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” – Joshua 1:8

Whose promises are you claiming in your life right now? Is it the promises of the enemy or is it the promises that Jesus already won on the cross for us? It is important to know who says what. So start reading your Bible and know your shepherd’s voice.
