We all come across something that would cause great sorrow and desperation. Our life is the most precious gift of Jesus and we seem to give importance to it. But there are times that we experience the tragedy that can cause the end of it without our expectation. An accident can happen any time of the day and it is by the will and power of God that we survive it in any way.
A firefighter Matt Swanzell is driving his way home tired from a whole day of work when something worst happened. He encountered an accident and it took the life of a woman who is 7 months pregnant. While on the other hand, a 19-month-old baby girl named Faith is still battling at the hospital. It was a tragic accident and Matt couldn’t believe how fast it happened. He couldn’t imagine how things have gone wrong that day and feels sorry for the woman and her family.
Matt faced the trial with the woman’s husband Erik who is a Pastor but they never talked. Erik decided to release a statement of how he came up to his decision. He did not pursue the case against Matt knowing that what happened was a tragic accident and nobody wants it to happen. Erik shared what he learned from one of the sermons that he heard wherein he made a wise decision of setting Matt free. We are all given 2 choices in life, it’s either we give grace and forgive those who sinned against us or we can take revenge and forever live in anger. Erik granted Matt forgiveness just as the Jesus forgave us from our sins. Learn how to forgive and let love reign in your heart that you may live a peaceful life.
