Actress Andrea Logan White almost gave up on life during the most trying time of her career. She lost the will to carry on and even contemplated suicide. But an angel appeared after she sought God and that moment forever changed the course of her story.
White said she was at her worst when she cried out to God for help. She was struggling with money even though she had multiple jobs. She struggled to make ends meet and thought of giving up.
“I had tears in my eyes and I was at the end of my rope and I said, ‘God, why am I on this Earth. Why am I here?’ … I was suicidal,” White said in an interview with “The Pure Flix Podcast.”
She remembered just crying through her struggles, her pain, and her worries. At that moment, she even questioned God’s existence. She recalled crying out to him, “If you’re real, you need to show me who you are because I have lost hope and I have no will to live.”
White, the star of “The Healing Tribe,” said that it was at that very moment that an old man in an old, red beat-up car appeared. The car had a “Jesus Loves You” bumper sticker. The man honked his horn to call her attention and he then pointed to the radio playing in his car.
The actress found herself tuning in to the radio station after the man drove off and she was surprised at what she heard. White recalled hearing a pastor repeating the words she had just cried out to God.
“[He was] saying there’s people out there crying out to God and they don’t know their purpose and God is here and he has a plan for your life and it’s a good plan,” White thought the message was essential at what she was going through at that time. That’s when she realized that God sent her an angel to stop her from committing suicide.
“I think God knew I was going to take my life.”
Since that spiritual encounter, White has set on a course of spiritual healing and fulfillment. She wants to share her experience and tell people that “Jesus Loves You” and that there is hope in God. She makes sure to connect with others who have gone down a similar path through her show “The Healing Tribe,” which help others “find the tools that God has given us to live an abundant life.”
White said that she “almost died through it all,” but God intervened and used the “tragic path” she led to wake her up and bring her to Him.
