Women’s Rights Activist Malalai Maiwand Murdered in Afghanistan

Malalai Maiwand, a women’s rights activist and journalist, was killed with her driver in Jalalabad, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. Malalai (also spelled “Malala”) was presenter at Enikass Radio and TV. Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
