Frostbitten Alzheimer’s Patient Carried From Snowy Ditch by State Trooper

82-year-old Bernard Perry was carried out of a snowy ditch by Maine State Trooper Tyler Harrington. Mr. Perry’s family reported him missing on December 22nd, telling authorities that he had Alzheimer’s and had wandered away from their home. Trooper Harrington found Mr. Perry in a ditch “suffering from severe hypothermia and frostbite,” then carried him to warm up in the back of his vehicle until an ambulance arrived.
