Teen Saves Friend from Choking at School Cafeteria during Lunch

In 2020, a student at West Jordan Middle School in Utah, Jackson Johnson, started choking during lunch and his friend, Hunter Olsen, had to perform the Heimlich maneuver to save him. Hunter’s quick thinking was captured on security footage and has since been seen by thousands of people around the world. Hunter’s heroism highlights the importance of knowing basic life-saving techniques, like the Heimlich maneuver, and the power of friendship in life-or-death situations.
