Chance the Rapper, a Grammy Award-winning artist, is sharing his need for prayer to help his “Auntie Toni,” who is in desperate need of a kidney transplant.
Well known in the world of hip-hop, Chance has not been shy about his faith. He grew up in a Christian home with his aunt being one of the strongest influences on him. But Aunt Toni needs a kidney replacement and has been on the waiting list for years without results. Now the need is more serious than before, so Chance took to Twitter for help.
I really need help. My Auntie Toni is one of the strongest forces in my life, and she is in dire need of a #kidney. We have exhausted all options and have been wait listed for years. My family believes in the power of prayer and we give this problem up to God.

Chance made headlines not long ago when he declared he was taking time off to leave the country and study the Bible because he said that he was not familiar with it. He is quoted as saying:
“We all quote scripture and tell each other what God likes and doesn’t like, but how much time do we spend as followers of Jesus to really just read and KNOW His Word. I’m definitely guilty of not devoting time to it.”
Nevertheless, this young man’s boldness was instrumental in refreshing rapper Kanye West’s Christian faith.
In a recent tweet, Chance shares that he believes in the power of prayer and is asking fans to pray for his aunt. The response has been great with people wanting to help in any way they can—some even wanting to donate blood.

We know that God is a God of miracles and healing. God encourages His people to bring their cares to Him—to not be overwhelmed with cares, but to bring our prayers and supplications to Him.
