The Ark Encounter, a biblical-theme park featuring a 510-foot-long replica of Noah’s ark located in Williamstown, Kentucky, recently celebrated its fifth anniversary.
The Grant County News reports apologist Ken Ham, CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis, which operates the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, looked back at the last five years and also announced the attraction’s next expansion – the Tower of Babel and a scale model of how Jerusalem appeared during the time of Jesus Christ.
The Ark Encounter said Wednesday that it would take about three years to research, plan and build a “Tower of Babel” attraction on the park’s grounds in northern Kentucky.
A release from the Ark Encounter park said the new attraction will “tackle the racism issue” by helping visitors “understand how genetics research and the Bible confirm the origin of all people groups around the world.” No other details were given on the Babel attraction or what it might look like.
