People will test our faith no matter what we do but we shouldn’t worry about what other people will think of us, we should only care how we can make our faith stronger than ever.
The Oscar-winning celebrity actress, Nicole Kidman, admitted during her interview with Vanity Fair that her friends often tease her for believing in God and for raising her kids the same way.
It is not common for stars living in Hollywood to talk about Jesus. Most of them only care about the glitz and glamour, the good vibes and crystals.
But for Kidman, together with her country singer husband, Keith Urban, it is important that their kids, Sunday and Faith, will grow up in Church.
“That’s how we are raising our children,” Kidman said. “Keith has his own beliefs, but he comes, too. I had a very Catholic grandmother, and I was raised praying, so that had a massive impact.”
Although her friends tease her because of her faith, she doesn’t let that get in the way of getting closer to God. Kidman shared that because she was raised by a very Catholic grandmother, she once think of becoming a nun.
“I’m spiritual in that I absolutely believe in God,” Kidman said. “I loved the idea of being a nun. Obviously, I did not choose to go that path, but I was very drawn to it.”
