A video that went viral on Facebook showed that talking about Jesus and worshipping Him isn’t limited to the confines of a church.
Michelle Holland Connor, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, was shopping at her local Sam’s Club when she heard singing coming from one of the store’s aisles.
She joined dozens of other shoppers in recording the moment when a keyboard display caught the attention of many people, who gathered around it to sing “My God Is Awesome” in unison.
The video, which shows a Sam’s Club employee joining in the singing and leading worshippers through later verses, is a beautiful reminder that the church is not a building, but a community of believers.
It’s also a testament to the power of shared faith and how it can bring people together, even in unexpected places. As Jesus said, “Where two or more are gathered, I am there in the midst.”
