Jarrid Wilson was a beloved megachurch pastor whose goal was to raise awareness about mental health and illness through Anthem of Hope, the charity he founded. He counseled many Christians who struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts.
Sadly, he took his own life after battling through his own depression. He left his wife Juli, their two sons, and the Christian community in shock and still in mourning.
To give honor to his memory and acknowledge his great works, Cause Roast Coffee is releasing a limited coffee blend called “HOPE Blend.” Wilson co-founded the fair trade coffee company with his friends Greg Pittman and Aldo Lihiang when they met in 2015. The company donates 15 percent of its profits to help third-world countries get access to clean, drinking water.
“As a tribute to a dear friend and amazing human being, we are releasing a limited-time blend called HOPE. All proceeds from the HOPE Blend will go directly to Anthem of Hope to help continue Jarrid’s work and legacy,” reads the statement shared on Instagram to announce the release of Hope Blend.

Cause Roast Coffe has also started a GoFundMe page to help Jarrid’s family get back up on their feet following his death.
“In addition, we have started a GoFundMe to help provide for Juli and the boys during this time of grief. As Juli and the kids discern the future for their family, they will also need to pay for basic necessities, health care, counseling, etc.”
As for Anthem of Hope, it will continue what Jarrid has started and continue to “create resources, community and encouragement to remind you that YOUR LIFE MATTERS.” The non-profit charity, which is a “faith-centered organization dedicated to amplifying hope for those battling brokenness, depression, anxiety, self-harm, addiction, and suicide,” will continue to remind people that “it’s okay to not be okay” and continue to point people to a life filled with God’s love and mercy.
