My name is Kristy Hopen and I want to tell you about a dream that I had last night. This dream has literally shook me to the core.
The dream started with me, my husband and our kids in what looked like my childhood home. My kids looked older than they are now. My oldest daughter is seven now, but in the dream she looked like she was about twelve. My five-year-old looked like she was about seven. My son was not there. We have four kids right now and in the dream my husband was holding a baby. I’m not sure if it was ours and where our other two children were.
We heard a loud trumpet or a blast of some sort which made me feel like I knew rapture was about to take place. We were standing there in anticipation. It was so real that when I woke up, I was devastated that it didn’t actually happen.
When we were standing there, I looked at my daughters and I saw this light shining and it outlined their bodies. It overtook their bodies and they just went up! My husband looked worried, but I said. “It’s fine, you know where they’re going.” Then, it started happening to my husband and myself at the same time. There was a light and we started shooting up. As we moved through space and time, I felt anxious and was worried about the kids, but a voice told me not to look back.
When we got to where we were going, it looked like a gathering. There was this man there, who was standing off to the side like he was waiting. I perceived him as Jesus, but he doesn’t look like the Jesus I saw in pictures. He had darker skin. Not black, but he wasn’t white. He had olive skin. I fell down at his feet and I threw my arms around his legs and I wept. I couldn’t believe that I was there. I just can’t explain it.
When I opened my eyes, I couldn’t believe that it didn’t really happen. It felt that real to me. I am not saying that’s what Jesus looks like and that’s what the rapture is like, but I have never been so shaken by a dream in such a way that I really thought it happened. I just wanted to share my dream and would appreciate if you have any input.
