Kathy Ireland, the former Sports Illustrated model, spoke about her faith in Jesus during the 30th Annual Movieguide Awards.
“The most important relationship in my life is with Jesus and though I became a Christian at 18 … I am so grateful that God is so patient and so gracious,” she said.
“Without Him, I don’t know. I certainly wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be anywhere,” the 59-year-old entrepreneur spoke about her gratitude for Jesus. “His love is unconditional, and it’s there for anyone to receive it. He’s there with open arms for everybody.”
Ireland is also proud of her philanthropic work and producing the documentary “Anxious Nation,” which focuses on anxiety’s impact on children and families in the United States
She shared that spending time with her family is essential to her, and she loves watching movies that have meaningful content and empower people.
Ireland’s journey to success is notable, having graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for 13 consecutive years. She launched the kathy ireland® Worldwide brand in 1993 and became a Forbes cover girl in 2015.
She is also named one of the most successful women in America, having moved $2 billion worth of licensed products at retail for her brand.
