Accepting Jesus as one’s personal Savior is a turning point in a man’s life. This often happens while one is in crisis, has survived an accident or a family member was saved from a deadly disease.
However, one man made the decision to accept Jesus, not while he was still young and robust, but when he was already on his deathbed.
A video uploaded on the Facebook page “Jesus Got Me” has gotten a lot of attention on social media because of the awesome display of God’s healing power.
The man was downright sick and was confined to his deathbed. Despite his condition, he desired to be baptized.
With his bulky hospital bed, tubes here and there, hospital staff brought him outside where a humongous bucket of water was waiting for him. He was lifted off from his bed and was supported by strong hands so that they may immerse him in the water for baptism.
As the dying man was immersed into the water, all people knew full well that angels are rejoicing whenever one soul would turn back to God.
In John 14:6, Jesus stated, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
This man has just made the best decision he ever did in his entire life, and that’s accepting the Lord as his personal savior, and subsequently getting baptized. No one is ever too late to be saved.
