Young Brothers Step In and Help 75-Year-Old Woman So She Doesn’t Go to Jail

Four young brothers have taken up lawn mowing to keep a 75-year-old woman in Texas out of jail. The boys saw a news report about Gerry Suttle after police in Riesel, Texas, issued a warrant for her arrest because the grass on one of her properties was too high.

The warrant was issued when the elderly woman failed to appear in court. Suttle, who turns 76 next month, told the station she never received a notice to appear in court.

The Reynolds brothers then spent two hours Wednesday mowing Suttle’s lawn. Others joined in after the brothers got started on a lot Suttle owns across the street from her home.
