When a child makes his first friend, it’s special. For 2-year-old Deacon Ross, that first friend was the man who collects his recycling. “He struck up this friendship with O Dee,” Deacon’s mom said. O Dee rides through every Friday in his garbage truck, and every Friday Deacon waits for him. “I think that this is Deacon’s first friend, that he really understands what friendship is,” Deacon’s mom said.
