7-Year-Old Boy Asks to Pray for Local Police Officers during Hard Times

Trey Elliot, a seven-year-old boy from Tulsa, has captured the hearts of millions online for his act of kindness towards the local police department. Trey’s goal is to pray for every police officer in his city, which amounts to 800 officers. At the time of his interview with KJRH-TV, he had reached 12 officers.

Trey’s praying campaign began when he asked to pray for the police at a local cookout. His mother, Brittany Elliot, recorded the small act of kindness and shared it on Facebook. The video went viral on social media, showcasing Trey’s endearing and hopeful moment with the police officers.

Tulsa news channel provided Trey with four more officers to help him out, and the officers present were filled with emotion. One officer was on the verge of tears, while the others high-fived the young boy.

Brittany Elliot indicates that Trey’s faith restores her heart daily, despite the state of their city. Trey’s efforts to connect with his local police department have given hope to many more, as his endeavors will not go unnoticed as he triumphantly reaches his goal.
