Billy Graham’s grandson, the famed evangelical Pastor Jonathan Lotz, a cancer survivor, has been hospitalized with COVID-19.
Lotz’s mother Anne Graham Lotz, the daughter of Billy Graham, revealed her son’s condition while urging her followers to pray for him in social media posts over the weekend.
“Fifty years ago, I could hold my son in my arms. Now I have placed him in the arms of Jesus. He has been hospitalized with COVID and is in critical condition,” Lotz wrote. “The verses last night in the Daily Light were perfect: ‘Brethren, pray for us’ 1 Thessalonians 5:25. And James 5.16 – ‘Pray for one another that you may be healed.’ I am asking you to please pray for Jonathan’s swift healing and recovery. For the glory of God’s great name. Thank you.”
Jonathan Lotz directs Jonathan Lotz Ministries, which is an “evangelistic ministry committed to preaching the Word of God and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a world in need of hope,” according to its website.
