Man Saves Baby Crawling On Highway And Helps Her Calm Down with Gospel Music

Sometimes, life will drag you to the ground that you almost feel like you wouldn’t be able to get up, but God has his hands waiting for you to reach out and he will willingly lift you to the situation you are in. Just because you made a mistake in the past doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a second chance. This story will prove to us how powerful it is to have faith in the Lord.

It was a normal day for Bryant Collins, a mechanic from Georgia, he was just traveling down the busy road of Highway 72 when something peculiar caught his eye. He instantly noticed there is a baby that was about to enter the middle of the road making him press on his brakes hard.

Collins was shocked to see that a 15-month-old beautiful curly-haired baby was just wondering the highway by herself. He immediately called 911 and informed them of what happened.

He stayed with the baby for two hours while the police investigated the situation. Just like what every confused baby will feel, she began to cry so, Collins pulled out his phone and played worship songs to help calm her down.

She looked at me like she knew me or something,” said Collins.

Police couldn’t believe that the child managed to crawl 300 yards from her home through the woods and into the highway. Emergency crew arrived and the father was arrested immediately.

Sheriff Kip Thomas said it was a miracle “that a 15-month-old can go that far from her house, into the woods, fall down an embankment, wind up near a major highway and really not get hurt that bad.”

Who would have thought that a once cocaine manufacturer would now be hailed as a hero? Collins once served 10 years in the federal institution for manufacturing cocaine, but during his time there, he decided to change for the better.

While I was in prison, I decided I can’t come home like I came to prison,” he said. He did everything to turn his life around.

And he successfully did that. Collins is now five years clean and sober and he works as an auto repairman.

When asked how it felt to be regarded as a hero for his act, Collins called it “nothing extraordinary,” as it was the right thing for anyone to do.

But he admit that it felt good to redeem his past by doing good.

It made me feel good that I could you know be in society and do good,” he said with a smile. “Just as well as you can do bad, you can do good.”
