We live a life molded with what we believe. Science and faith are two different things that collide most of the time. There are even people who strongly believe that Science is what makes the world go round and everything is explained in theory. There are some unexplainable things or what we call miracles that even some people still don’t believe and argue with. We are being influenced by what people tell us, what we hear on the radio or what we saw on the television. There are also a lot of books published telling facts about why things happen, it could be pro-Science or pro-faith. But what matters most is what we believe according to what we have experienced in life.
Dr. Eben Alexander is a man of Science and all his life he believes in theories to explain things. Not until he got sick, everything has changed. It happened one night when he experienced too much pain due to muscle spams and was brought to the hospital. The surgeon was having a hard time recognizing brain activity and it was said that Dr. Alexander is in a deep coma after being diagnosed with bacterial meningitis affecting his brain. In his deep sleep, he saw a girl trying to guide his way telling him that everything will be fine. The girl told him that they will send him back on the 7th day to tell everyone about his experience.
Jesus is the greatest doctor the world has known. His miracles are the proof that He exists and that His word remains in our heart. He works in mysterious ways that no man could ever imagine. Dr. Alexander came back to life on the 7th day and this is truly a miracle that everyone witnessed. After everything that happened to him, he wrote a book called Proof of Heaven, a collection of memories that he has experienced during his coma. Everything that happened changed Dr. Alexander’s belief. It’s something that Science couldn’t explain but it is only by faith that we are able to digest such things.
