Celebration! A joyous time remembered and commemorated. People around the world, likes to celebrate special moments in their life like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and so on. Do you know that there is a moment in our lifetime that is celebrated not only by us but also by God and the angles? In Luke 15:10 Jesus said: “Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents”.
Watch as army chaplain Jon Pirtle baptizes a fellow soldier in Iraq. At such a moment, the heavens erupt in joyous salute as this man becomes a child of God and his name is written in the palms of The Father. His soul is welcomed into God’s kingdom and he will live forevermore. As this soldier believes in Jesus and publicly demonstrates his faith through baptism, Jesus now proclaims him redeemed in heaven.

Rejoicing can take place anywhere and anytime. We are indeed gladdened when our soldiers, who are in the battlefield, entrust their life to The Almighty who is able to keep them alive here on earth as well as in heaven.
