Life is a journey with ups and downs. We may encounter the worst things in life but always make sure to look up to God. We are given two options and we need to choose between walking with the world and walking with God. Walking with God is not just a time in prayer but obtaining a lifestyle living a Christ-like life. Our Father in heaven is looking unto us to make sure that we are on the right track. Just like our fathers on earth, they always want the best for us because they are preparing us to have a brighter future.
A father walks down the aisle to hand his daughter to her husband-to-be. As the bride in an elegant gown steps into the aisle, her father is accompanying her. The guests are focused on them and were surprised when he slowly started to sing “Walk with You” by Edwin McCain. The song is a perfect fit for this emotional event of their lives. He could never imagine his baby girl turning in to a fully grown-up woman that is about to have his own way of living apart from him. When they reached the end of the aisle, the father gave both of them a hug reminding them that he can be trusted of whatever problem that may arise.
Change is inevitable and we should always be prepared. In whatever circumstance that you may encounter in your journey, always learn to trust God and trust in Him alone. The world may be cruel but the love of God is able to protect us from danger. He always holds our hand and makes sure that we are safe.
