I Was Pulled Into the Sky — I Think It Was the Rapture!

On February 21st, Emily, a house cleaner from Maine, had a vivid dream that left her shaken, joyful, and deeply aware of God’s love. Her experience was not just personal; it felt like a confirmation of what many others in the body of Christ are sensing—that Jesus is coming soon.

In the dream, Emily found herself cleaning the darkened home of a friend—someone who doesn’t yet know the Lord. The lights wouldn’t turn on, and the atmosphere was dim, as dusk had just settled. Yet she kept cleaning, committed to the work despite the unusual conditions. The setting was odd: no snow on the ground despite it being February in snowy Maine, and the temperature felt strangely warm, like spring. Her outfit was simple—a plain white T-shirt—and she was without makeup, an uncharacteristic choice that seemed to symbolize purity and honesty before God.

As she stepped outside to wave goodbye to her friend and her daughter, something began to shift. An old high school friend appeared, and while they stood in the driveway talking, he asked her a strange question in a kind of code: “Did you hear the pew pew at 3:02?” The phrase was odd, but it triggered a memory. Emily remembered hearing something as she exited the house—something that didn’t sound like gunfire, but more like a trumpet or a loud horn.

And then, it happened again.

A sound filled the sky, deep and resonant, like the final trumpet. Immediately, Emily looked up and saw a large cloud illuminated by light shining out from all directions. Though she didn’t see Jesus, she instinctively knew He was there. The cloud radiated with piercing brilliance, and her heart overflowed with joy. She and the man standing next to her both cried out, “Is this it? I think this is it!” She wanted to say more—that this was the rapture, that it was the final trumpet—but there was no time.

Suddenly, she felt it—her body being pulled upward toward the light. Her arms and legs tingled, trailing behind her as gravity released its grip. She was no longer standing; she was rising. A deep joy consumed her, a joy she couldn’t describe. She felt like a child again—free, full of wonder, and completely at peace. The man next to her was being pulled up as well, and though they didn’t speak again, she could feel that he too was smiling, just as overwhelmed with joy.

As she ascended, Emily sensed something even more profound—the fear of the Lord. Not fear in the worldly sense, but reverence. She was about to meet Jesus face to face. The thought filled her with awe. The love she felt from Him was intense, jealous, and consuming. It was as if Jesus had been waiting for her just as she had longed for Him. She understood that He didn’t simply allow her to come to Him—He wanted her. He had been longing for this reunion.

Then she woke up.

She was giggling, still buzzing with the sensation in her arms and legs. The joy lingered, but so did the holy fear. She prayed and wrote down every detail she could remember. Reflecting on the dream throughout the next day, she realized how clearly the love of Jesus had come through. He didn’t just rescue her; He claimed her. His love was possessive, protective, and powerful. She felt His longing to finally bring His people home—forever in His presence, never again to be separated.

Emily’s final words after sharing the dream are simple, urgent, and full of hope. If you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. He is the only way to the Father. Jesus died and rose again so that our sins could be forgiven and we might live forever with Him. Emily’s dream may have been personal, but its message is for everyone.

Jesus is coming. Will you be ready?
