God has prepared a way for us to survive life. Before He gave us life everything was already planned. Everything that we encounter in life teaches us a lesson that we need to remember until the rest of the days. Experiences that make us stronger and wiser are designed to make our faith in God grow.
I have read a story of the Lewis family wherein the couple adopted a baby that was born having no brain. It is a very rare case but the couple did not hesitate to accept her. They named her Ava which means “filled with life”. The saddest part is that Ava only lived for almost seven months when Jesus took her away from the couple.
Losing someone that had been a part of your life for quite some time is heartbreaking. Something that you didn’t expect to happen or to end and you were not even prepared for it. There are events in our lives that would bring much sorrow and misery to the family.
I lost my brother twelve years ago due to aneurysm. He was 15 years old that time when God took him away from us. We were drowned with sadness and this incident tested the faith of the family. As a child of God, I continue holding on to His promise in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. God gave us life and He is the only one who has the right to take it. What we have right now is temporary and was granted because of God’s grace to men. God knows what’s best for us and He knows the right path that we need to take in order for us to overcome hardships and succeed in life.
The Bible says God will “come like a thief” in the night that nobody knows when. We need to be prepared all the time and make sure that we are ready for His coming. God gave life to men with the purpose of serving and glorifying His goodness and He also takes it according to His plan.
