Man with Down Syndrome for the First Time saw Brother ‘Keep Still’ on Duty as Guard to Queen of England

What a priceless moment when this young man with Down syndrome saw his younger brother fulfilling his duties as a Queen’s guard at Windsor Castle! The brotherly bond portrayed by these two is so heart-warming that I can’t help but click the playback button.

People say that love gets stronger with time, some may agree and some may not, but this is the reality that these brothers have shown us through this video. Sam has Down syndrome and his younger brother, Jack, works at Windsor Castle as a guard to the Queen of England. Traditionally the Queen’s Guards are not allowed to move and Sam’s reaction upon seeing his brother on duty was an amazing picture. I believe Sam was so proud seeing his younger brother fulfilling his duties.

The brotherly bond portrayed by these two is so heart-warming. How can time make a bond like this grow stronger?  There’s more to brothers than its lexical definition. A brother will love you as who you are, accept you despite of your differences, and will always be proud of you no matter what. This is the kind of bond that Sam and Jack demonstrated. Their relationship encourages us to appreciate our brothers, or even sisters, whether biological or not, who have always been there for us since the beginning of our time. We are so blessed to have this kind of people in our lives. So show them your love today. You can always start by giving them a warm hug!
