Things happen the least that we expect them to come. Our life is temporary on earth, and we need to make sure that every single thing that we do counts. God gave us life and He alone is the only person who can take it away from us. We do not have the capability to predict what would happen in the future.
Tommie Harris is an American football defensive tackle who played eight seasons in the National Football League. He played college football for the University of Oklahoma. He was born in Germany but was raised in Killeen, Texas. It was 41 days after getting married when he lost his wife due to a fatal brain aneurysm. It was an unexpected tragedy for Harris, and it brought too much sorrow for Him. Everything came back to his memory when there was a time that he and his wife were sitting in an auditorium in Indianapolis watching when a man came up and speak about his lost wife. The couple was only married for 30 days that time and Harris didn’t realize that he only got 11 days left to have his wife by his side.
Life is short and unpredictable. Nobody can tell if it’s already the end of your journey except for the Almighty Father. Every single day that passes, is a chance given for us to repent of our sins and believe in the power of Jesus that we may receive the gift of Salvation. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Tell everyone how much you love them and value them in your life. Show them that you care for you can never tell when your days are over.
