12-Year-Old NICU Survivor Gives Back To Premature Babies Through Gift Of Music

We help others without expecting something in return and we all love that feeling when somebody appreciates a simple act of kindness that we shared. The best feeling in the world is to know that someone’s day became better and you played a big part in making them happy. They could possibly forget your name and your identity but surely they will never forget your generosity. You may be lucky enough to have the kind of life that you want, but remember that there are some people who strive to live a good life and sharing to them the good things that you’re experiencing is indeed a good act.

Isabella Ciriello is a 12-year-old girl who has a big heart for others. She was blessed with an amazing gift towards music and she is always thankful for the life that Jesus gave her. She was born 16 weeks early than the expected date of her birth and she stayed for a long period of time in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. During her stay, the doctors play music almost every day and it helped a lot in her recovery. Isabella continued to fight instead of her worst condition when she was still a baby. Imagine a child born very tiny and fragile. Her parents were actually warned by the doctor that there is a big possibility that Isabella is not able to make it because of her worst condition. But then God has a big plan in Isabella’s life.

When she grew up, she discovered her amazing gift in music. She’s able to play different kinds of instruments such as piano and guitar. Because of God’s goodness in her life, she always wanted to give back to people especially to children in the NICU who were also born as premature babies. She plays her music to the infants at the NICU hoping that it will support them like what happened to her when she was still a premature baby. This act could be simple but thinking of her intention, it only shows that Isabella has a big heart for other people and this is something that we should imitate.
