Most of us are pet lovers and we always have that one favorite pet that we take good care at home. For pet lovers, they are not just animals but they are one of the great companions that we have in life. They bring happiness to our hearts and we always make sure that we spend quality time with them. We have special bonding moments with our pets and that’s what makes them close to our hearts.
Army Pvt. Hannah Foraker has a 13-year-old golden retriever named Buddy. Hannah and her pet is so close to each other that they always make sure they spend time with each other. Unfortunately, the two got separated and they parted ways because of some circumstances. Hannah joined the army and it is a must for her to take a 3-month combat training. It was the first time that Hannah and Buddy will not be seeing each other for several months.
When Hannah came home, the first one to welcome her was her beloved pet. Sadly, Buddy was suffering from hearing impairment and arthritis and he can’t recognize Hannah. But when Buddy figured out that it was Hannah in front of him, he was so happy to see his owner. Buddy’s excitement was obvious and it seems like it was the perfect day that he was waiting for several months. Pets are not just animals, in fact, they also know how to recognize the love and care given to them by their owners. They can be a great friend and companion in life so we need to make sure we take good care of them.
