Often teased by her friends, award-winning actress Nicole Kidman believes in God and is passing it on to her children. Kidman is raising four children—two with country star Keith Urban and two others from her past marriage to actor Tom Cruise. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, she talked about how her friends criticize her for taking her daughters, Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 8, to church.
Kidman has not kept her faith a secret. She often talks about it openly and wears a diamond-studded crucifix—a gift from her grandmother. On Sundays, she can be found in church with her family. Kidman says she absolutely believes in God and even considered becoming a Catholic nun because she was so drawn to the religion.
Although Nicole Kidman is a Hollywood star, she does not act the part. In an environment where beauty, glamour, and talent are the priority, she has remained firm in her belief of God. It is a testimony to Proverbs 22:6, “train up a child …”. Now, she is repeating it with her own children.
