Couple Nick Doyle and Gabi Angelini met at the National Down Syndrome Society National Convention in April 2019 and have been in love with each other since.
Despite being inseparable during the convention, when they parted ways, they forgot to exchange numbers. But Nick found Gabi on Facebook.
They had to continue to cultivate their love over long distance. This was until their mothers organized a secret reunion.
The lovebirds met again at another conference in June but were again devastated that they had to leave each other again.
“Gabi broke down crying to her mom, telling her how much she missed Nick,” Mary, Gabi’s mom said.
Nick, who is 30 years old, lives in Canton, Ohio, and Gabi, 21, lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. The emotional reunion took place in Ohio when Gabi and her mother went to visit Nick.
This was why the reunion was planned. Lisa, Nick’s mom, booked a flight for Mary and Gabi so that they can visit Canton. The mothers decided to make the visit a surprise. Gabi was told that they were going to a conference and Nick was told that a friend needed a ride from the airport.
In the video, you can see Nick to be a little uneasy as he awaits his surprise. He tries to smile at the camera but it is evident that he is quite uncomfortable.
Then when he gets a glimpse of Gabi, he instantly becomes emotional and is in disbelief that his love has come to visit him.
Gabi, on the other hand, runs toward Nick, dropping his bag and embraces him.
