‘Miracle Boy’ Thrown Off Mall’s 3rd Floor by Heartless Guy Now Out of ICU

A 5-year-old was attacked at the Mall of America and was thrown off the third floor by a vicious guy. Landen Hoffman suffered from head trauma and incurred the worst kind of fractures in both his arms and legs. With his life in grave danger, Landen was confined in the ICU for quite a lengthy period. However, God has been good, such that the little boy is now out of the ICU.

According to CBN, Landen was shopping at the mall with his mom and friends on April 12 when the incident happened. He was grabbed by 24-year-old Emmanuel Aranda, then thrown over the rail of the mall’s balcony.

Aranda, in a statement given to the police, stated that he originally wanted to kill an adult since they were usually the one standing near the balcony. However, at that time, his plan “didn’t work out” which was why Landen became the victim.

Despite the harrowing incident, the family of Landen chose to forgive and pray for Aranda. They remained strong, trusting in Jesus’ love for Landen.

After some time, Landen’s family finally announced on his GoFundMe page that he was already out of the ICU. He was moved to an “inpatient, physical rehab program at another hospital” so that he may continue to heal and make his journey towards complete recovery.

While the family of Landen recognized the fact that it would still be a long way off and that there’s “hard work ahead,” they are very thankful for God’s goodness and for the fighting spirit of 5-year-old Alden.

“The Lord is good, and we are thankful. We are happy to report that our son is no longer in intensive care and has been moved to an inpatient, physical rehab program at another hospital to help him continue to heal and focus on the next phase of his recovery. There is hard work ahead! And, our beautiful boy has endured much already, but he is strong and his spirit remains vibrant. We continue to be eternally grateful for every prayer, every act of kindness and the love this world has shown us throughout this journey. Thank You”

Many people have contributed to Landen’s recovery. They were able to breach their $1M goal through the help of thousands of people who donated for Landen through their GoFundMe page.

According to Landen’s family, “The road to recovery remains long, but with God and you, we are assured to make it through.”
