Parents with little ones know how hard it is to take care of children especially kids at a young age. They have a lot of energy to spend the whole day playing, roaming around and making disturbing noises and yet they don’t feel tired. As parents, you need to lengthen your patience and understand how to deal with kids. You can’t be a parent if you don’t accept the fact that having children is a big responsibility that you need to deal with.
Mitch and Carmen Newman have three little kids and they deal with this every day. They have a very busy schedule of taking care of the children but yet they spend some time to eat out and have bonding with their children. One day they decided to grab something to eat and bring the kids to White Rose Cafe. It was fun but not a quiet meal as expected since they already know how the kids would behave. The kids were yelling and a loud disturbing noise can be heard all over the cafe. Their son tried to climb up the wall reaching the jukebox while the other one was roaming around and walks back and forth the entire place. Other customers might be annoyed and can hear them so the parents tried over and over to keep them silent.
When they finished eating, they asked the waitress for their bill. But they were shocked when they received a different paper with a note left on it saying “God bless from a Christian from LA. I love children, Amen”. The couple was shocked and they went out immediately to chase the couple who left the note. It was an inspiring act of kindness that the couple did to Mitch and Carmen.
God sends other people and uses them as an instrument for us to know that despite hardships in life there are still some people with gentle hearts and is willing to help us when we are in need. Our children are God’s gift to us and they are very near to the heart of the Lord. Jesus once said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the Kingdom of God belongs to them”.
