Picture yourself on a packed flight, a route to your destination, when suddenly you find yourself in the front row for a choir concert fit for royalty! That’s precisely what happened to some lucky passengers on a British Airways flight, as the Kingdom Choir staged a flash mob performance.
The choir, famous for their performance at the royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, surprised passengers with a delightful treat, thanks to the ingenuity of British Airways’ marketing team.
With their rendition of the beloved 1960s classic “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King, the Kingdom Choir had fellow travelers grinning from ear to ear. The performance began with the deep, rumbling tones of the low-note singer, mapping out the recognizable bass line of the song. Moments later, a female voice from the back of the plane joined in, doubling the tune with him.
Before the audience could comprehend what was happening, a soloist emerged from the flight attendant’s galley, singing the melodic lyrics. Watch the video to see how we surprised customers at 35,000 feet.
