Despite suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which causes a loss of voluntary muscle movement, Watson loves music and dreams of recording an album in Nashville.

Watson’s condition has worsened as he has grown older, and he is now unable to walk and bound to a wheelchair. Despite his physical limitations, Watson has refused to let them prevent him from pursuing his dreams. He hopes to pursue a career in Nashville and is also interested in becoming a voice-over artist and radio announcer.

Watson’s first step towards sharing his vocal talents with the world was through his school’s talent show. Accompanied by his father on the guitar, Watson sang “I Told You So,” a song made famous by Randy Travis and later covered by Carrie Underwood. Watson’s performance was truly remarkable, with a powerful and impressive range. His love for the music was evident through his genuine and passionate performance.

Watson won third place at the talent show, a moment he described as “life-changing.” His parents shared a video of his performance on Facebook, which has since garnered 37,000 views. As a result, Watson has been invited to perform on local TV and has been offered the opportunity to record a demo CD.
