Woman Fleeing Ukraine War Is Handed 2 Children – And Makes a Harrowing Promise

As attacks from Russia began on Ukraine, a 38-year-old father had a dire decision to make. Keep his kids in the country with him, or send them to safety in the hands of a stranger? That’s where Nataliya Ableyeva stepped in. The dad, unable to leave Ukraine because of a decree on men ages 18-60, entrusted Ableyeva with his children, asking her to safely guide them to the Hungarian border. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
