In a recent post that went viral, Charlie Jabaley, also known as Charlie Rocket, a TikTok influencer helped Shelby pay for her rent for an entire year.

Shelby sent a message to Rocket saying that she had lost her son last July and was about to get evicted from her house. This news devastated her and she did not know what to do, she said.

He met with her soon and took her to Walmart to buy some comforter and some clothes she needed.

Shelby was emotional upon receiving the good news. She said, “I am so glad I met you guys.” She was grateful for the gifts and for the support that she received.

“We have to pay it forward… There is so much hatred in the world,” the teary eyed woman said.

Rocket then took to social media to ask for donations for the poet. The goal was to pay for her $375 rent per month for an entire year. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for her with a goal of $35,000. As of this writing, it has now reached more than $50,000 from 2,000 donors.

The donors said”

“She seems like such a genuine person that should be leading people with her poetry. She sees the world like most others don’t.”

“I am sorry for your loss Shelby. God is with you.”

“Hope it helps!❤ Stay strong and keep your head up!”
