Buying a house is pretty expensive so people opt to just renting out because it is more affordable than purchasing a property. While it could be cheaper than a house, others are still struggling on how to pay for their rent.
Juan Gonzales, the man behind a very popular youtube channel with more than 5 million subscribers, TheWasEpic, posted a video of him knocking on random people’s doors, asking how much they pay for their rent and offer to pay it for them.
At first they are hesitant to answer Juan but when they do, Juan will then give them the amount they said is needed for their rent. All of them are confused as to why Juan is doing this. I mean, who wouldn’t be? A random stranger would just knock on your door and give you money without asking for anything in return.
Juan is definitely a blessing to others but there is one particular person who asked if Juan is an angel. He said he prayed to God to give him money to pay for his rent because of his current financial situation.
The man said, “You know, I’ve been praying about this? I don’t have rent money for tomorrow.”
“Are you serious? Well, there you go,” Juan replies. “Now you have it.”
Juan then said that he owns a Youtube channel called ThatWasEpic and today, they are knocking on people’s doors and offering them to pay their rent.
“I’ve been praying. I’m in the middle of a job transition and it’s been tough for me. I prayed this morning,” the man said to Juan. “I was paying my rent on time, but things have happened wrong the last two months. We moved here four months ago, and things went really bad for me when I got here. The company I work for got sold out, and we were basically left out in the street, literally. Even this morning, I told my nephew, I said ‘You know, the last thing that I could have that I will not give up is hope. That’s the last thing I’ll give up. I’m going to take this because I know it’s God. This is just a thing from the Lord.”
The man then called his wife to share the good news and to thank Juan as well for his act of kindness. When the video was posted online, it instantly went viral. People are touched with the reaction that the man expressed and they are inspired to do the same thing that Juan did.
