Respect begets respect as a famous saying goes. People vary from their beliefs in different aspects and this should be respected by anyone else. We may differ in what we believe but in the eyes of God, we are all equal as His children. We must be given the right to express what we feel and believe as long as it doesn’t hurt other people.
An Alabama School used to pray with loudspeakers before football games start. They were very expressive of their faith and they pray for the members of their football team to have a safe and victorious game. Nobody cares of what they usually do because it was already a practice ever since.
Not until an organization outside filed a complaint with regards to this matter and suggested that instead of doing this, they should give a moment of silence and let everyone pray on their own. It’s really not a big deal if you’ll come to think of it, but the enemy will find it’s way to destroy the things that are in favor of your faith in God.
Satan’s greatest desire is to prevent people from praising God. He will find an entry point for him to destroy your relationship with the Lord. As a Christian, your responsibility is to guard your heart and fight for your right to practice your faith.
