Tori Foles, wife of Super Bowl LII MVP, Nick Foles, suffered a miscarriage Sunday morning, yet both continue to trust God during their time of loss.
After 15 weeks of pregnancy, Tory attributed the miscarriage to a bout she had with pneumonia. Tori went through full labor then delivered her child; she and Nick saw their son, leaving them both confused, sad, and angry.
Nevertheless, they have decided to trust God, saying that, “God has this fully in His hands and will use this for good.” Fans poured out compassionate remarks on Nick’s Instagram account via the family photo below that was posted some time ago.

Nick Foles, 29, is the quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars football team and is quite about his faith during a time in the U.S. when being a Christian in the spotlight is not always applauded. He plans to become a high school pastor, noting that he cannot play professional football forever.
The Foles’ say that they now fully understand the grief in losing a child during pregnancy. It may be that the Lord will use this pain in their lives to comfort others, as Nick plans to seek the role of pastor. But may we pray on their behalf as they struggle through the pain of their loss.
