Inspired by his grandfather Jeffrey Anderson Sr., a retired Marine, Christian Anderson became a member of the United States Marine Corps.
However, when Christian graduated, his grandfather couldn’t attend his graduation due to his disability, and they hadn’t seen each other for two years. So, Christian decided to surprise his grandfather on his birthday in 2017 by coming home in his marine uniform.
Despite Jeffrey’s difficulty walking, his family took him outside to see the surprise. As he turned his head, he saw Christian standing next to him in his uniform. Overwhelmed with emotion, Jeffrey broke into tears as Christian gave him a tight hug. Even the rest of their family couldn’t help but tear up over the heartwarming moment.
